The Picture of Dorian Gray is a philosophical novel by Irish writer Oscar Wilde. A shorter novella-length version was published in the July 1890 issue of the American periodical Lippincott’s Monthly Magazine. The novel-length version was published in April 1891.

It's a classic and it shows. I really enjoyed the critical parts. There are some very, very boring parts, tho. Maybe I didn't enjoy those as English isn't my first language, but I just had to do it for Oscar Wilde.
It was definitely great to read "the origin story" of a character I've mainly known from League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie.
Mai saps per quin personatje “parla” Wilde. O per quin no ho fa. Però parla, i molt! A través dels diàlegs dels capítols finals s’entreveu el millor de la critica a la societat de final de segle.
